Srce za šapice ("Heart for Paws") is an animal welfare association running a dog shelter in Donji Andrijevci, Croatia. We built their digital platform - a multilingual public website and an admin CMS - to help rescued dogs find homes in Croatia and across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

We designed and built the full platform for Srce za šapice - a public website in Croatian, German and English with dog profiles, adoption and foster applications, donations and sponsorship, success stories, a blog, volunteering sign-ups and animal abuse reporting, plus a secure admin CMS where shelter staff manage dogs, applications, donors and published content.
"Every dog deserves to be seen by the right family."
Shelters run on volunteers and very little time. We designed Srce za šapice so staff can publish a dog in minutes and adopters - wherever they live - can understand each dog's story and apply without friction. The visual language is warm and calm, putting the dogs first and letting every profile speak for itself.
Many adopters come from the DACH region. Every page exists in Croatian, German and English, and dog descriptions entered by staff can be machine-translated from the CMS so profiles never go live in only one language.
For a non-profit, every euro counts. Donations generate dynamic HUB3 and EPC QR payment codes so supporters can give by direct bank transfer straight from their banking app, with no card processing fees.
The admin panel covers the full dog lifecycle - intake, foster placement, adoption - along with application review, donor records and success stories, protected by role-based access control and multi-factor authentication.
